Privacy Policy

By proceeding, you are authorizing Carleton University to share your personal information for career development and academic support purposes. The information for currently active students to be shared includes your First and Last Names, Student Number, Faculty, Degree, Major 1, Major 2, Level, Year of Study, Email Address, Phone Number, Graduation Information, Co-op Status, Citizenship (co-op students only), and Registration information. Career Services, Co-operative Education, Sprott School of Business, the Academic Advising Centre, Science Student Success Centre and the Centre for Student Academic Support may send you occasional emails about career development activities, events, and academic support services. 

We expect that employers recruiting and utilizing the services provided by Co-op and Career Services will abide by our Terms and Conditions for employers.

Please note that Carleton University is not responsible for any individual actions taken after inquiring or applying to any opportunity visible on the mySuccess system.  We encourage all system users to be aware of fraudulent activity and to protect themselves from any associated behaviour. Co-op and Career Services will not be liable to students and alumni who disclose contact or personal information to an employer or other party of their own volition while using the site or as a result of use.

Co-op and Career Services does not investigate, endorse, or recommend third-party employment services. It is up to students to determine whether utilizing third-party employment services will benefit them.

Carleton recognizes and respects the importance of privacy and only shares your personal information with external sites that adhere to our standards of use under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
